Job brief

We are looking for a WordPress Developer with 2 years’ experience in an agency environment who would like to take their career to the next level by designing and building attractive websites for our clients. The successful candidate will be part of a growing digital team delivering first class users experiences to a global audience.

Experience: 2 Years

Location: Mumbai (Andheri East)

Salary: up to 25k/month

Role & Responsibility

• Designing and implementing new features and functionality
• Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
• Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
• Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
• Develop and maintain websites in PHP, WordPress using off-the-shelf and original templates in accordance with design specifications.
• Develop front end using Javascript, JQuery, HTML5
• Ensure Best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the website and application.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Conducting WordPress training with the client.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.

Skills and Requirements

• Strong understanding of WordPress Design & Development
• Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
• Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
• Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
• Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
• Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 2 years of experience in WordPress development
• 2 years of experience in CSS, HTML, JavaScript development
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Good experience with MySql or other database
• Good experience with Ajax
• Hands on experience in designing and developing e-Commerce applications is a plus
• Good communication skills and client-oriented attitude
• Organized and detail-oriented person
• Problem solving skills, analytical mind and positive attitude
• Results oriented and focused on meeting deliverable timelines

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: ₹15,000.00 to ₹25,000.00 /month

Experience:

• Core PHP : 2 years (Preferred)
